Disneyland Resort Paris’ Disney Village, is the only park in the resort which is free (I meant no entrance fee). It was specially built for tourists who only want Disney items for souvenirs and giveaways. As an entertainment district, there are cinemas (more than 15 of them) to enjoy the movies depending on your age. You can watch concerts while having snacks at Billy Bob’s. You can, of course, play at games rooms – interactive and whatnots to while the time away.
For those who like a little adventure, there’s the PanoraMagique – a hot air balloon hovering above lake Disney. It gives you a new perspective of the whole Disney Resort at dusk. It was also a fun experience, just walking around, shopping a bit and posing for photos. Also looking for souvenirs from the many boutiques, Disney fashion, Disney stores, Lego for cousins, aunts, and friends were enjoyable.

Disneyland Resort Paris’ Disney Village really has a lot to offer for the family. Here’s some.
Good Food
Eat at the specialty restaurants whichever palate you prefer. Pasta, steak, tex-mex dishes, and giant burgers! There are a handful of quick service food counters as well as fine dining areas – themed like the others. Annette’s Diner, for example, is a table service restaurant set in the 50’s – servers on skates to complete the theme.
And then there’s Planet Hollywood just by the Village entrance. Theme Hollywood includes American food, music videos, and lots of memorabilia from movies produced in the lot.
Lake Disney
Lake Disney is a man-made lake surrounded by several Disney hotels. Th stretch of walking around the lake is as relaxing as it could get. The trees and grass are a refreshing sight, romantic in the fall, and magical when covered with snow.
Up Up and Away – PanoraMagique
You can see Disneyland from another perspective -a 360° view from up a hot-air balloon. Although it’s just 6 minutes, a ride up from above Lake Disney, at sunset is surely worth those few minutes.
Chocolates and More Sweets
The stores at Disney Village sell Disney-themed chocolates and sweets. We bought ones with colorful wrappers and varieties of Disney character faces printed on them to give away to friends. We bought some for us too, they were yummy to say the least.
Disney Store
Shopping at Disney Village is a must, that’s why this is an open souvenir area. If you aren’t up for rides and those, you can drop by the Village to buy your favourite Disney items. There are t-shirts, caps, mugs, umbrellas, stuffed toys, shoes, keychains, pens, stationeries, and other trinkets your friends would be happy to receive.
Disney Fashion Boutique and Trademark Items
This particular shop sells exclusive Disney items – be it clothing, accessories, even jewellery. The shop boasts of items specially created by certain designers. A whole ling of clothing – shirts, pants, dresses, gloves, socks, and underwear is waiting for you at the Disney Fashion Botique shop.
Disneyland Resort Paris’ Disney Village Open Souvenir Shops
This area of Disneyland Paris is definitely one for people like me, not big on rides, but enjoys merchandise and whatnots from places visited. Although we missed DLP’s 15th-year anniversary celebration by some months, we’re still glad to have seen and experienced it with the kids. With good food, a cinema, a big lake, and picturesque views to take photos of, I’m a happy kid!
