Our one-week in Lignano was well-spent in Residenza Europa Villa. We rented 2 apartments both with 2 rooms each. One for us and for my brother-in-law’s family….parents-in-law shared each a room with our kids. (Mom-in-law’s favorite grandkid is my older son 😉 so she stayed with him often then.)
Really Hot Summer
Lignano tended to be really hot in the summers so we would sleep with the doors open (there were no windows). Having said that, I would recommend to bring mosquito repellent or anything to keep them mosquitoes away. Being near bodies of water is perhaps a reason that they thrive.
Mini Community
Lignano being a community is quite simple and the streets are clean. There are a lot of establishments people can spend time in – eating, shopping, playing. It has a feel of really being a small town catered not only for locals but for tourists as well.
Simple but Complete
The apartment is simply made; the living room with a sofa bed, a kitchen and a dining table are all in the same area when you enter the front door. The kitchenette could never be more complete, as a stove, a ref and utensils are provided. The bathroom, albeit small is ok but we got lots of wet floors the whole week…good thing mom-in-law brought in floor towels…we would then hang them by the balcony to dry.
The rooms provided also has a big closet for all our one-week stuff…
Private Pool
The pool can be seen clearly from our terrace. In the morning, the kids are already looking forward to dipping in the pool, but would later ask to go to the beach. It is also a good thing that he height of kids have been considered, there’s a pool for kids 5 years younger.

Where did you find this kind of short term rentals from? My friends and I want to travel and we couldn’t find a place to stay, because hotels would be out of our budget. There are about 8 of us going together and this looks like it could work for us. I would really appreciate a link please! Thanks.
