What is it about mini’s that I love so much? If it comes in a small version it seems like I must have it! I don’t really buy mini’s but sometimes when you are going on a short trip mini’s just make sense. Hubby and I are taking a weekend vacation to Washington DC and the Luray Caves soon and mini’s are a must so that I have more room for clothes!

One tip for those traveling only with carry on luggage. Take only the things (toiletries) that you know you would not be able to get at your destination. Due to the liquid restrictions, etc. you may want to stock up on necessities once you reach your destination. If you are traveling state side that should not be a problem at all. However, if you are going overseas do a little research into the area where you will be traveling, so that you can find out if items are accessible where you are staying. That way you pack even lighter and can get what you need while there.

For me it’s really hard to travel light specially if you’re planning a vacation of more than a week. These tips are really helpful, thanks for that!

This is what I use my free samples I get from companies for. I have tons of shampoo, lotion, beauty products and they all go in a travel basket to be packed when a trip comes up.
